Questions and answers
What exactly is licensed?
A de-identified copy of your company’s records, which micro1 uses to train AI models. Your company keeps ownership of the records.
What is de-identified, and by whom?
The copy micro1 licenses is de-identified. Ask micro1 how it is done before you apply.
What is never included?
micro1 decides at application. Its partner guidance lists attorney-client privileged records, health information, payment-card and financial-account details, Social Security numbers, minors’ data, biometric data and classified or export-controlled material. Ask micro1 before you apply.
Who owns the records afterwards?
You do. Your company keeps ownership of its records.
What does it cost the company?
Nothing. We are paid a referral fee by the buyer, disclosed in writing. Your company pays us nothing at any stage.
How do I apply?
Through our link to micro1’s own page. micro1 looks for operating companies with 30 or more employees and documented operations, and for closed companies that had 50 or more employees at their peak. We don’t apply for you, and we never see your files.
Who is TrustPast, and who is micro1?
TrustPast is a small US advisory. We explain the process and estimate a range; you apply to the buyer through our link. micro1 is the buyer.
*Purchases are made by micro1 under its data partnership programme. TrustPast is an independent referral partner of micro1.
Can I say no at any point?
Yes. You decide whether to apply.
