TrustPast Referrer Terms

Last updated October 16, 2026

1. Who these terms are for

These terms are for MSPs, bookkeepers, fractional CFOs, M&A advisors and wind-down firms who share a tracked link from TrustPast (“TrustPast”, “we”, “us”) with their clients. In these terms, “you” means the referrer.

2. What qualifies

A referral qualifies when:

  • the client is a closed company that had 50 or more staff at peak, an operating company with 30 or more desk staff, or a roofing, HVAC, plumbing or auto-repair business with years of records; and
  • the client applies to the buyer through your tracked link.

3. Your client’s permission

Share your link only with clients who would want it. We never ask for or store your clients’ details, and we do not contact them.

4. How we attribute referrals

Your link carries a referral id. We use it to attribute clicks and completed partnerships to you, with the date and the buyer.

5. Sharing our fee

We share part of our referral fee with you when a partnership completes through your link. The share is agreed in writing. Nothing is owed unless we have agreed it in writing.

6. When you are paid

  • We pay you after we receive the buyer’s fee.
  • If the buyer declines, nothing is owed.

7. What you must not do

  • Do not make any promise to your client on our behalf.

8. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by US law and the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any dispute will be heard only in the courts of Wyoming.
