HVAC companies: get paid for your records
Last updated October 16, 2026
An HVAC company writes down every visit. Years of service history sit in its systems. Some of it has a buyer. Here is what counts, what you keep, and how it works.
Which records count
This is our own description of what an HVAC company usually keeps, not a list from any buyer:
- service records and maintenance logs, visit by visit;
- estimates and replacement quotes;
- job notes and photos from installs and repairs;
- change orders on larger jobs;
- dispatch and scheduling history;
- CRM history: calls, follow-ups and maintenance plans.
Polyshares decides what it licenses.
